Description: Undergraduate and graduate students interested in displaying their home furnishings product as a FREE sponsorship for the Residential Home Furnishing Market in High Point, NC.

The attached sponsored space at the spring High Point market is open to all undergraduate and graduate students interested in a career in the residential home furnishings industry and would like the opportunity to display their finished goods at market.

The Groovystuff University Hall of Innovation and Job Creation is an education-to-industry cross cooperative providing students and faculty with an invaluable opportunity to network with retailers, designers, manufacturers, suppliers, journalists, and industry professionals.

For the High Point Market, Groovystuff along with co-sponsor IMC properties are helping to broaden the educational outreach of university programs across the country by giving them real world market experience, and a platform to build on their association with the industry prior to graduation. 2,700 ft/sq is being offered free of charge and will include products made by industrial design students from both Auburn and Appalachian State University, Interior Architecture students from the University of North Carolina Greensboro, Fashion and Merchandising lighting designs from the University of Georgia, and a preview of products to come from Industrial Design students at Purdue and the Interior Architecture graduates from the University of Idaho.

Products must be shipped to The Suites at Market Square and set up no later than April 19, 2012. Standard showroom carpet and lighting are provided as well as electric and drayage fees associated with getting your product to and from the loading docks before and after market. Breakdown for products being returned must be completed no later than 5pm on Friday, April 27, 2012.
